Oscar 2021: Nomadland miglior film, tutti i vincitori

Nella notte degli Oscar 2021 il cinema italiano non risplende a Hollywood, purtroppo nè Laura Pausini nè il team di Pinocchio conquistano l’ambita statuetta. Tre Oscar per Nomadland che spicca come miglior film, miglior regista e miglior attrice protagonista: Chloé Zhao fa la storia, è la prima regista (donna) di origine asiatica a vincere l’Oscar, e la seconda donna a vincere la statuetta in 93 anni.

Un’edizione degli Oscar 2021 decisamente diversa, a partire dal cambio location della cerimonia, non più il Dolby Theatre, bensì la cerimonia si è tenuta all’Union Station di Los Angeles e, a gestire lo show è stato chiamato uno dei registi più celebrati di Hollywood, Steven Soderbergh.

È da poco passata la mezzanotte quando ha inizio il pre-show Oscars: Into the Spotlight, presentato da Ariana DeBose e Lil Rel Howery che intervistano i nominati agli Oscar, unici talent presenti sul red carpet estremamente ridotto per quest’anno. Nel corso del pre show sono state trasmesse le esibizioni dei cinque brani candidati come migliore canzone originale: il brano ‘Husavik’ (Eurovision Song Contest – La storia dei Fire Saga) é stato eseguito in un teatro della cittadina islandese Husavik mentre gli altri quattro, compreso “Io Sì (Seen)” cantato da Laura Pausini, sono stati registrati sulla Dolby Family Terrace dell’Academy Museum of Motion Pictures.
