SAG Awards – A Star is Born e Black Panther tra i nominati 2019

Ieri sono state annunciate le candidature relative ai SAG Awards (Screen Actors Guild), ovvero i premi assegnati ai migliori attori dalla SAG/AFTRA, l’associazione degli attori americani.

Come noto, visto che la maggior parte degli associati della SAG/AFTRA fanno parte dell’Academy, questo premio sindacale è un forte punto di riferimento in vista degli Oscar, ed in particolare riguardo le categorie attoriali e quella riferita al Miglior Film.

A ben figurare quest’anno, senza dubbio, A Star is Born e Black Panther, entrambi quasi certi di raccogliere una nomination nella categoria Miglior Film agli Oscar 2019. Il film diretto da Bradley Cooper ha raccolto 4 nominations, mentre il cinecomic Marvel la riceve, oltre che per le controfigure, anche per il Miglior Cast d’Insieme.

Sono andate alla grande anche altre pellicole, nel particolare vi parliamo di BlackKklansman e La Favorita, entrambe con 3 nominations. Emily Blunt ha ottenuto una doppia nomination, i film in questione sono Il Ritorno di Mary Poppins e A Quiet Place.

Nella divisione televisiva è Netflix il dominatore assoluto con ben 15 nominations ottenute dai suoi prodotti.

I SAG Awards saranno assegnati a seguito di una cerimonia che verrà celebrata il 21 gennaio 2019.
