Il film 1917 trionfa ai PGA Awards, ecco i vincitori

Nella notte italiana la Producers Guild of America ha assegnato i PGA Awards 2020, celebrando come Miglior Film dell'anno "1917".

Il film diretto da Sam Mendes, da molti considerato il frontrunner per il dominio agli Oscar 2020, è stato scelto da una giuria di 8200 produttori dell'industria cinematografica e televisiva americana.

Da sempre considerati come premi assolutamente influenti in relazione ai premi assegnati dall'Academy, i PGA Awards potebbero così spingere 1917 verso la conquista dell'Oscar 2020 nella categoria Miglior Film; a tal proposito ricordiamo che, statisticamente, 21 volte in 30 edizioni dei PGA Awards i due premi hanno riconosciuto lo stesso vincitore.

Per la categoria Miglior Film d'Animazione, l'associazione ha premiato Toy Story 4, anche questo titolo è da considerare frontrunner per il premio agli Oscar 2020, nella categoria Miglior Film d'Animazione.
