Nel primo pomeriggio la Art Director Guild ha comunicato la lunga lista delle nomination degli ADG Awards 2024, i premi assegnati ai Migliori Scenografi dell’anno.
Così come accade da sempre, l’associazione degli scenografi hollywoodiani anche in questa edizione ha diviso i premi cinematografici in tre distinte categorie, Fantasy, Storici e Contemporanei. L’Academy tiene conto di questi premi, e questo perchè dal 1996 (anno in cui sono stati creati gli ADG Awards) l’Oscar di categoria è andato 18 volte su 27 ad uno dei tre vincitori.
I vincitori degli ADG Awards 2024 saranno annunciati il 10 febbraio alla Ray Dolby Ballroom di Ovation Hollywood. Il defunto scenografo Lawrence G. Paull, candidato all’Oscar per Blade Runner i cui crediti includono anche Ritorno al futuro e All’inseguimento della pietra, sarà inserito nella ADG Hall of Fame durante la cerimonia.
