NAACP Image Awards 2026 | Sinners e Hightest 2 Lowest guidano le nomination

La NAACP ha annunciato le nomination per la 57ª edizione degli Image Awards, che celebrano l’eccellenza e l’impatto delle persone di colore nel cinema, TV, musica, letteratura e streaming.

Le nomination agli NAACP Image Awards 2026 riflettono un’annata cinematografica ricca di storie potenti e rappresentative, con Sinners di Ryan Coogler e Highest 2 Lowest di Spike Lee che emergono come i titoli più forti. La presenza di film come Wicked: For Good (Cynthia Erivo) e One of Them Days (Keke Palmer e SZA) sottolinea invece la forza delle donne nere protagoniste.

Sinners/I Peccatori (Warner Bros. Pictures), in particolare, guida le nomination con presenze in Outstanding Motion Picture, Actor (Michael B. Jordan), Supporting Actor (Delroy Lindo, Miles Caton), Supporting Actress (Wunmi Mosaku) e Cinematography (Autumn Durald Arkapaw), per un totale di ben 18 candidature. Highest 2 Lowest (A24) segue a ruota con nomination in Motion Picture, Actor (Denzel Washington), Supporting Actor (A$AP Rocky, Jeffrey Wright) e Breakthrough Performance (A$AP Rocky).

Sarà interessante capire come questi premi andranno ad influenzare poi le scelte dell’Academy riguardo le prossime nomination per gli Oscar 2026. Intanto, date un’occhiata ai vincitori dei Golden Globe Awards 2026 assegnati ieri.

La cerimonia di premiazione si terrà il 22 marzo 2026 al Pasadena Civic Auditorium e sarà trasmessa su CBS e Paramount+.
