Pochi minuti fa sono state annunciate le nominations dei WGA Awards 2018 (Writers Guild of America), i premi assegnati dall’associazione dei sceneggiatori americani. A sorpresa presenti Get Out e Logan.
Come sempre la sezione cinematografica è stata divisa in tre categorie (Sceneggiatura Originale, non Originale e Documentaristica), mentre i premi quest’anno saranno assegnati il prossimo 11 febbraio 2018.
Nella categoria dedicata alle sceneggiature originali spazio a Jordan Peele per Scappa – Get Out, ma anche ai super favoriti Greta Gerwig per Lady Bird e al duo formato da Guillermo del Toro e Vanessa Taylor per The Shape of Water. Spicca, invece, nella categoria Sceneggiature non Originali la presenza di Scott Frank, James Mangold e Michael Green per Logan – The Wolverine. Presenti nella cinquina col cinecomic anche James Ivory per Chiamami col tuo Nome.
