E’ morta all’età di 73 anni l’attrice di origini birmane Zienia Merton, famosa nel mondo della fantascienza per aver interpretato la dolcissima Sandra Benes nell’iconica serie tv Spazio 1999.
La triste notizia è stata diffusa pochissime ore fa attraverso Twitter dal produttore inglese Barry Langford. Al momento non si hanno ancora particolari riguardo il motivo di questa morte.
In carriera la Merton ha anche partecipato a serie tv più o meno note come Return of the Saint (1979), Angels (1983), Lovejoy (1986), Crime Traveller (1997), Doctors (2001), Dinotopia (2002), EastEnders (dal 1998 al 2003), e Wire in the Blood (2008).
