La Cinema Audio Society ha assegnato questa notte i CAS Awards 2025, altra tappa di avvicinamento agli attesi Oscar 2025.
In occasione di una cerimonia di premiazione tenutasi sabato sera al Beverly Hilton, l’associazione dei tecnici del sonoro hollywoodiani ha premiato A Complete Unknown con il principale premio ai CAS Awards 2025. Il film di James Mangold si è avvicinato così al premio Miglior Sonoro ai prossimi Oscars. In ambito televisivo, invece, i soliti mattatori Shōgun e The Bear hanno raccolto meriti e vittorie.
La CAS ha infine conferito il Filmmaker Award 2025 al regista Denis Villeneuve, mentre il 6 volte candidato all’Oscar Tod A. Maitland ha ritirato il Career Achievement Award del gruppo.
