BAFTA 2022: Il potere del cane di Jane Campion trionfa agli Oscar inglesi

Dopo aver trionfato ai DGA Awards, la regista australiana Jane Campion svetta anche ai Bafta Awards 2022 (gli Oscar inglesi, assegnati poco fa) per la regia de Il potere del cane che ha vinto anche il premio come miglior film.

Ora, dunque, possiamo dirlo: Il potere del cane sarà l’avversario da battere agli Oscar e per il favorito Belfast la strada si fa più impervia. Il film di Kenneth Branagh (candidato a sette premi Oscar) si è comunque aggiudicato il premio come miglior film britannico – e non poteva essere altrimenti.

Niente da fare per E’ stata la mano di Dio di Paolo Sorrentino che è stato scavalcato dal giapponese Drive My Car nella categoria miglior film straniero.
